I'm going to assume this listing will be seen by Doozy lovers, collectors or wannabe's -- and won't require a whole lot of explanation beyond "here's one for sale, buy it."

I'm digging deep into my personal favorites as I get further into my quest to pare down my collection. I haven't owned this 52 Senior very long, but it easily holds a spot in my list of "Top 5 Guitars I've Ever Owned."

Made in Germany Duesenbergs are the Mercedes of guitars and their client roster reads like a who's-who of every A-list act around. The story of the 52 Senior is no different. It seems ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons was searching for the ultimate single pickup guitar and Duesenberg stepped in and had him help in the design of this amazing instrument. He subsequently posed for the cover of that year's catalog with his #1 52 Senior prototype in his hands.
